Forest Whimsy fairy houses are one of a kind dwellings, created to present to the fairies as a gift. When a child places a fairy house in his or her room, it becomes a magical location where they can exchange notes and gifts with the fey folk.

The materials used are mostly natural, many of them gleaned from nature walks and then heat-sterilized to prevent unwanted tenancy. I recommend you place your fairy house indoors. If you want to put it outdoors, place it in a sheltered area, such as a porch, and off the ground to make it harder for snails and their friends to move in!

The fairy houses are sturdy, but have some delicate features. Let your children use their imaginations and play with them as they would a dollhouse!
